- HEAt – High Initial Water Temperature, above 60 deg at the start.
Drain water and start a new program. Or wait for the water to cool down. Switch off the machine and restart after 2 to 5 secs. If the same message appears, call the IFB Care support team.
- 0FEr or Pr5 –
Switch off the machine and restart after 2 to 5 secs. If the same message appears, call the IFB Care support team.
- ACH or h260– Input voltage is high
After the voltage drops to a safe operating level, the machine will start up automatically. In order to identify the electrical system malfunction, get in touch with your electrician if this error display continues or occurs regularly.
- ACLo or L175- Input voltage is low
After the voltage drops to a safe operating level, the machine will start up automatically. In order to identify the electrical system malfunction, get in touch with your electrician if this error display continues or occurs regularly.
- Unbl- Laundry load is unbalanced
Check if your laundry is uniformly distributed in the washing machine drum. Remove tangles if any.
- dLEr- Door not getting unlocked.
Turn off the washing machine, give it two minutes, then check to see whether the door can open. Never attempt to force the door open. Switch off the appliance and call IFB Care if the door won’t open or if the same message appears.
- tAP – It indicates a tap related issue, causing non flow of water.
Check if the tap is Open. Check if the water pressure is sufficient. Sieve/filter blocked in water inlet hose filter. Remove Bent/damaged water inlet hose, if any.
- ŁACO or trC – Clothes stuck between the drum and door area.
Turn off the washing machine, then wait two seconds. Start the Drain programme. Rearrange the clothing after END and start the necessary programme again. Switch off the appliance and get in touch with IFB Care if the same message keeps appearing.
- dpEr – Water not drained.
Press Start/Pause button to restart the drain.
- r in S H0Ld – You see this when you rinse and hold the laundry.
- dLAY – This code displays when you put the wash cycle on delay mode.
- door – Door not closed properly, or not locked.

3. IFB Top Load Washing Machine Error Codes List
Following are some common IFB washing machine error Codes for IFB Top load washing Machines. If you find an error code that’s not mentioned here, please contact IFB care.
- FrH or FrL – Voltage is too high or low
When the voltage reaches a safe working level, the machine will start up automatically. If you still see this error code, please get the electrical connections of your house checked with an Electrician. If Connections are good but you still see the error code, contact IFB care.
- LSE – Load sensing error. Machine is not able to sense the load in the wash tub.
This can be due to overloading or some internal fault. Check if your washing machine is overloaded. If not, turn OFF your washing machine, take a pause of 1 minute, then restart it.
If you still see this error code, contact IFB care.
- Pr5 – Water level sensing error
Restart the washing machine. If you still see this error or, if you see this error frequently contact IFB care.
- TEr – Motor error. The Motor is defective
Try restarting your washing machine after a 1 minute pause. If the error still persist, contact IFB care.
- CPE – Capacitor error, can be if overloaded.
Check if your washing machine is overloaded, if not, contact IFB care
- HEt – Overheating error
Restart the machine to find if you see this error repeatedly. If yes, Contact IFB care.
- Unb or dor – The washer doesn’t spin. A load unbalance Error.
WThe load should be balanced, and the door should be closed properly. The machine should not have vibration. Check for all these issues, if everything is good, contact IFB care.
- drE – You see this error when your washing machine is not able to drain the water, or maybe it’s draining so slowly that it crosses 20 minutes. Or In situations when the drain hose end is held high.
Check for any clogging in the strain pipe. Make sure that the drain pipe rests on the floor.
- ACH or ACL – This IFB washing machine error codes indicate that the Input voltage is too high or Low

- tAP – Not receiving water, or water flow crossed 10 minutes.
The water tap should be open. Water hose should be clear, not clogged. Water pressure should be adequate. Water inlet hose connections should be right

Common Troubleshooting Issues in IFB Washing machines

- LED Display does not glow.
Cause: Power supply is OFF, Power cord unplugged or loosely connected, Program not selected.
Solutions: Make sure that the Power cord is plugged properly and it is switched on. Make sure you selected a program.
- Washing machine door does not open
Cause: Machine in operation/ Child lock is active
Solutions: Make sure that the machine is not in motion or the water level is not high. Check if the machine is showing the ‘dlEr’ error code.
Turn off the washing machine, give it two minutes, then check to see whether the door can open. Never attempt to force the door open. Switch off the appliance and call IFB Care if the door won’t open or if the same message appears.
- Program does not start
Cause: Start/Pause button not pressed / Water supply tap is Off or water pressure low / Door not closed properly / Program maybe in Hold mode or has been paused.
Solutions: Make sure that the Start/Pause button is pressed, it will glow if pressed. Ensure the water tap is On and water flows with normal pressure. Check if the door is firmly closed. Check if the machine is showing some error codes
- Water does not enter the machine, Detergent not being flushed into the drum
Cause: Water tap may be closed, or the water tube may be clogged.
Solutions: Make sure the tap is open and water flows through the water tube.
- Detergent flows out of the dispenser, Clothes have detergent spots.
Cause: Water pressure not normal, probably high. Quality of detergent used doesn’t suit front loaders. Excess detergent used.
Solutions: Make sure that water flows at normal pressure and you are using a detergent recommended for the front loading washing machine, and you are not overdosing detergent to your laundry.
- Water leaking from the machine..
Cause: Maybe some connection is loose.
Solutions: Check for firm connections throughout all joints like inlet water tube, hoses etc. If you still face this issue, call IFB care.
- Machine does not drain.
Cause: Clogged filter or drain pipe or maybe you have kept the hose end at some height, above 1 metre from floor
Solutions: Make sure the drain pipe is not clogged and rests free on the floor
- Machine does not spin
Cause: Load is either too small or the machine is overloaded or the load is not balanced / Spin speed is low or set to Zero RPM / Machine is on Rinse or Hold mode / Filter may be clogged / Excessive foam generated due to excessive use of detergent.
Solutions: Make sure the load is balanced / Desired/Right spin speed is selected / Machine is not on Rinse and Hold mode / Filter is clean / Machine doesn’t foam excessive; right detergent for front loader is used.
- Machine vibrates more during spinning
Cause: Machine is not uniformly installed. It rests on an uneven surface / Filter/ drain pipe may be partially clogged / Unbalanced load.
Solutions: Make sure the machine is installed properly. It rests on an uniform surface. Load is balanced, and Filter/ drain pipe is not clogged.
- LED Display does not glow.
Cause: Power supply is OFF, Power cord unplugged or loosely connected, Program not selected.

Maybe you can help me here with my IFB Senorita SX 6 Kg 1000 RPM front loader washing machine which gives me a P11 error code which blinks throughout on the display and beeps a tone as well. If I turn the knob to Rinse/Drain water special program, the beeping and blinking frequency increases. A simple search on the internet was inconclusive, even IFB doesn’t seem to have listed this error code. Hope to hear from you.
